Enjoy the idyllic, outdoor ambiance of The Village at Gulfstream Park while riding in a horse-drawn carriage! Complimentary rides will be available each Saturday and Sunday in May beginning Saturday, May 1 through Sunday, May 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., weather permitting. Connecting kids to their community in fun and educational ways is the focus of Pony Pals Kids Club at The Village at Gulfstream Park, a membership club that opens up a world of fun and discovery for children ages 6 and under. The Village at Gulfstream Park created the Pony Pals program as a way of creating fun, interactive experiences that children and their parents can enjoy together. Other perks include special discount offers, birthday treats, a quarterly newsletter and more! Registration is FREE and activities take place every Tuesday in Champions Plaza from 11:00am - noon. CINCO DE MAYO FIESTA WITH MARIACHI

Cinco de Mayo is an occasion of ethnic pride celebrated throughout Mexico and the United States. Cinco de Mayo marks a victorious battle that took place in Puebla, Mexico. Today Cinco de Mayo is a joyous holiday celebrated with food, fun, parades, and plenty of cerveza or tequila. This year, guests can get into the spirit and start their very own Cinco de Mayo tradition at The Village at Gulfstream Park. Enjoy the vivid sounds of a live mariachi band performing in Champions Plaza on May 5 from 7:30 pm- 9:30 pm, as well as top-shelf guacamole, chips, salsa and more - compliments of Cantina Laredo. Kick off a weekend of fun with Music on the Plaza, a weekly live music series taking place in Champions Plaza on Fridays throughout the month of May. Those in attendance will experience a multicultural mix of worldly sounds: May 7 Anthology (Beatles Tribute Band); May 14 Aloha Islanders (Polynesian Sounds); May 21 Ike Woods (Rhythm & Blues) and May 28 Raiko Torres & Son Tres (Latin Salsa and Jazz). The free concerts will run weather permitting.
the Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue DEPARTMENT HEALTH FAIR AND EXPO
Saturday, May 22, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Silks Run
The Village at Gulfstream Park and the City of Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue Department are partnering to celebrate National Emergency Medical Services Week with a Health Fair & Expo. The event will focus on promoting healthy living habits and providing preventative care tips that can lead to a healthier and happier life. Guests will also take in Auto CPR Device and Jaws of Life demonstrations, as well as many activities for children, including a tour of the fire trucks, the first aid for kids learning experience and a meet & greet with Puddles the Fire Mascot. This event is free and open to the public, weather permitting.
