Hallandale Beach, FL – April 27, 2011 – Michael Keane has joined The Village at Gulfstream Park, South Florida’s ultimate dining, shopping and entertainment destination, as Marketing Coordinator. In this capacity, Keane serves as support in setting the department’s marketing goals and objectives, assisting with the organization of all special events and implementation of promotions, as well as handling day-to-day marketing functions.
“Michael is a great complement to our team and has already proven to be a valuable asset,” says Jeannie Roberts, Director of Marketing for The Village at Gulfstream Park. “He is very creative and brings great enthusiasm to The Village at Gulfstream Park.”
Keane began his career at The Village at Gulfstream Park in June of 2010 as a marketing intern and after graduation from Johnson and Wales University, was hired as Marketing Assistant. In this position, he coordinated and executed several events at The Village including Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festival, HSMAI Hospitality Convention and Pony Pals, a weekly kids club.
“In my new position as Marketing Coordinator, I will set my sights on building upon the many opportunities associated with this extraordinary project,” Keane states. “And I will focus on continuing and strengthening The Village’s commitment to our retailers and the community.”
Keane was also an integral force behind the success of the inaugural Symphony in Lights, a spectacular, dancing holiday light show choreographed to the music of Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
“Michael is in-tune with The Village’s goals and philosophies,” continues Roberts. “In his new role, he will undoubtedly contribute to our continued success and growth.”
A native of Watertown, New York, Keane earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Johnson & Wales University in Miami, Florida.
